Last night, the customer sent a message saying, "Why are the samples printed by your SL800 so strong and have such a high surface finish?"
The customer is engaged in 3D printing services. He contacted us not long ago and said that he wanted to buy our SL800 3D printer and asked us to send him a few samples to see the printing effect. We did it as required, then received another message from the customer last night.
First of all, the motor of the SL800 control screen uses a Panasonic servo motor with a positioning accuracy of ±8μm, the screen positioning accuracy reaches ±0.03mm, and the scraper marble platform accuracy is <0.02mm, so the printed samples are accurate in size and high in precision.
Secondly, the control software designed by Magforms software engineers also contributed greatly. SLA 3D printers all use light spots to print the filling surface, but because the light spots are round, the printed contour has a certain curvature and is not smooth enough. However, the SL800 can use a tiny spot to slowly scan the contour of the sample multiple times with a high-energy light source through function settings, thereby increasing the curing depth and uniformity of the resin at each position, and improving the surface finish and structural strength of the printed sample.
After listening to my description, the customer praised the software engineer of Magforms and said that he was delighted with the performance of the SL800 and was ready to buy one.
